I really love work. And living in greenpoint. Just because I work at peter pan regulars notice me everywhere. So cute. I like to notice their haircuts because I think it makes their days. I like that the old regulars at night ask me how my boyfriend is and even know his name and that we read eachother our horoscopes and discuss the post. They're all old men I wish they were collectivley my grandfather. And I get to eat the best donuts ever nomnomnom!!!

There are a few very good reasons for this.

1. It is closed.
2. Subsequently, you get to watch people walk up to the stares, then stare at the CLOSED sign in disappointment. It's hilarious.
3. Also because it is closed you are allowed to sit on the steps, thus making the disappointed people watching that much more fun.

My little sister is visiting with her adorable friend this weekend, yay!!

A (kind of) Day in my Life:

Background: I don't have a camera, but me and Sammy decided to have an "Adventure Day". Go to Goodwill, walk around, then walk all the way to 59th and 6th (I live on 117th and 3rd) to see David Blaine hang upside down for 60 hours. I recorded it in my journal.

Already went to Goodwill.
Called Andrew.
Bought snacks for David.
Sitting at 5th avenue between 107th and 106th.
David is at 59th. We have a great voyage/journey ahead of us, but we are prepared.
Then Andrew got mad.

We are somewhere between 80th and 79th on our first official break. There are a lot of puppies (too many puppies, and Asians. About 40 more blocks to David, e still have the snacks ( we are fasting until we reach him)and our stamina. It may be lower than before, but our hopes and spirits are high.

Our final rest before David. 71st street. Only a few blocks separate us, and we can feel it in our bones. We are already light headed. Sympathy pains.

Today I walked all the way to union square (and all around the UWS). I live on 117th. Now I am eating pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries and I'm about to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's for the fifth time in 3 days OMG so cute.
